LYR002 “GDEP” sees Sydney-based Swede Adam Stromstedt return for the second release on Lyssna, the label he co-runs with partners in Stockholm and Amsterdam. Following standout releases on Banoffee Pies and Junk Yard Connections, Stromstedt delivers the A-side “Sinbad”—a 12-minute deep house journey of intertwining chord patterns, delay-soaked percussion, and hypnotic low-end movement. Fans of Thomas Melchior or René Audiard will feel right at home.
On the flip, Stockholm-based Flord King, who was living in Amsterdam when he produced the track, delivers “Dapper”—a minimal-leaning groover driven by crisp percussion, dreamy pads, and a tightly wound rhythm. Already tested and approved by some of the scene’s most trusted selectors, it’s a subtle but powerful tool for late-night floors.
